Why so serious?

I’m Minnow (like the fish), a coach, photographer, and writer living in NYC.

I’ve been sharing my work online since 2007 and somewhere along the way it all become too serious. I also started taking myself too seriously and started to think and overthink rather than finding enjoyment in sharing.

Maybe it was from the pressure I put on myself to be successful like the other creators I compared myself to. Or maybe it was the anxiety of can I go another year on my own? that I demanded something fun to become something productive.

Even starting this blog came with much overthinking and needless back and forth, but I decided to go with what was light hearted, earnest, and true to me.

The idea of this blog is simple: words paired with photos I’ve taken. The hope is to recover the joy in sharing and connecting.
